About Me

A seasoned software developer with over 7 years of experience building efficient and scalable enterprise-grade applications. I thrive on creating high-quality solutions that are simple, maintainable, and directly address core business objectives.
My journey has taken me from building foundational systems at startups, where I was instrumental in shaping their operational processes, to architecting data pipelines and CI/CD workflows for large international corporations.

Though much of my recent work has been on the backend, I am a true full-stack engineer, comfortable across front-end frameworks, database management, and modern DevOps practices. My current pursuit of an MSc in Data Science reflects my commitment to continuous learning and my excitement for the future of data-driven software.

Work Experience

Senior Fullstack Developer - Vertland Africa Ltd. (for BESTSELLER A/S) (2022 - AUG 2025)

Engineered and maintained key data infrastructure for BESTSELLER A/S. Established a Redpanda Kafka instance for robust data sharing across services and configured FluentD for PostgreSQL log exportation. Architected and implemented CI/CD workflows in GitHub Actions, reducing code duplication by over 50%. Additionally, built high-performance, Typesense-powered UI components to enhance the company's Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.

Backend Developer - Veegil Media 2022

Developed critical internal tools to improve platform functionality and team efficiency. Built a microservice for managing organizations on the platform and created a dedicated Windows application that significantly accelerated the development process.

Systems Developer - Resusly Ltd (Formerly RefinedToys) (2019 - 2021)

Authored a suite of software to drive the startup’s core operations. Developed web scrapers and integrated third-party shipping APIs to automate data retrieval and logistics. Built intuitive user interfaces for a complex database structure, optimizing buying and order fulfillment processes for more streamlined and efficient company operations.
